The Apostle Paul, in writing to Timothy, exhorts the church on the importance of training a future generation for service. “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2) From its inception the Free Presbyterian Church has sought to give a theological education to those called of God.

Presently, training is based at the Jubilee Complex of Martyrs Memorial Free Presbyterian Church, Belfast. Inaugurated in 1981, the Whitefield College offers a four year theological course for candidates for the Christian ministry and a two year college course for Christian workers and those preparing for the mission field.
